Before we post a single job, we dig into your organization. We look at what the role requires and what success in this position looks like. Then we build a job description to match.

PHASE 1: ASSESSMENT

We handle the full search: job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, reference checks, and offer support. You stay in the loop without getting pulled into the weeds.

PHASE 2: RECRUITMENT

Our work doesn’t stop at the offer. We build an onboarding plan together and provide coaching sessions for your new hire to shorten the learning curve and protect your investment in the right person.

PHASE 3: ONBOARDING

"From my very first conversation with Rooted Hire, I knew I was speaking with true experts. They guide the recruitment process with ease, professionalism, and intention, creating an experience that feels both efficient and deeply human. But what sets them apart is what comes after placement. Their thought partnership, strategic guidance, and ongoing coaching are truly second to none. They are more than recruiters. They’re trusted advisors and advocates. I cannot recommend Brittny and her team highly enough."

What we’re not.

Not a staffing agency.
We don't send you a stack of resumes and wish you luck. We manage every search from start to finish.

Not a job platform.
Anyone can post a job. We build the pipeline, vet the candidates, and protect your time.

Not a one-size-fits-all search.
No two searches look the same here. We build around your organization, not a template.

This service is right for you if…

✅ Your team is stretched, and managing a search would pull them away from work that can't wait.

✅ You've been through a bad hire or a long vacancy and don’t want to repeat it.

✅ You're hiring for a role that requires deep sector expertise to evaluate well.

✅ You want candidates to walk away from your process feeling respected, whether or not they get the role.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • HR teams are critical partners in the hiring process, but finding the right candidate requires sector expertise, strategic evaluation, and a deep understanding of nonprofit leadership and culture.

We work alongside your internal team to bring specialized recruitment expertise, broaden your candidate reach, and help ensure the right long-term fit for your organization.

  • Most searches take 10-12 weeks from kickoff to offer, depending on the role and your organization's availability. We'll give you a realistic timeline on the discovery call.

  • Fees are determined after the discovery call, once we understand the scope and level of the search. Our recruitment fees are typically structured as a percentage of the hired candidate’s salary and vary depending on the position and complexity of the engagement.

Payment is divided into three installments: 25% at signing, 50% upon launching the search, and 25% upon acceptance of an offer.

  • We stand behind our placements. If a placed candidate leaves within six months of their hire date, we’ll repeat the search at no additional charge, provided there have not been significant changes to the role or organization after hire.
